GP shift (or race shift) has a reversed shifting pattern to Road shift. To put a bike which has a GP shifting pattern into first gear you move the shifting lever up. To put it into higher gears like second gear or third gear, you move the shifting lever down. GP Shifters provide upshifting, making track life easier!
