Thank you for shopping at MB Special Parts (www.mbspecialparts.co.uk).
We offer refunds and/or exchanges within the first 14 days following the reception of your order. After this point, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

1. Introduction
This policy applies to all products purchased from www.MBSpecialParts.co.uk by consumers under UK law. It explains your statutory rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

2. Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order:
  • Within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods, for any reason.
  • Once you notify us of cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

3. Condition of Returned Goods
Returned items must:
  • Be returned complete with all supplied parts, accessories, and documentation
  • Include original packaging where reasonably possible
  • Not have been installed, fitted, used, modified, or damaged
You may handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If the item’s value is reduced due to handling beyond what is necessary, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund.
3.1 Incomplete Returns
If returned goods are missing components or packaging, refunds may be reduced to reflect the diminished resale value.

4. Refunds
If you cancel within the statutory period:
  • The purchase price of the goods will be refunded
  • The standard delivery cost paid for the order will be refunded
Refunds are made using the original payment method and may be delayed until:
  • We receive the returned goods, or
  • You provide evidence that the goods have been sent back
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt or evidence of return. Please note, we will apply a re-stocking charge (it varies order per order; we'll let you know how much it will be). If the order is taking longer than usual to be posted for any reason and we have informed you about the delay (i. e. the item being Out of Stock) and we have given you an approximate date when it'll be back in stock, and you still decide to cancel the order, we'll apply a re-stocking fee.

5. Return Shipping
Unless goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied:
  • Customers pay return shipping costs
  • Use tracked or insured services, as the customer is responsible until items reach us
Returned items must be sent to the address on the invoice. Do not send returns directly to the manufacturer.

6. Compatibility and Correct Part Selection
Customers are responsible for ensuring parts are compatible with their motorcycle.
If a part is returned due to incompatibility within the statutory cancellation period, it will be treated as a standard cancellation return.

7. Exchanges
If you need a different version of a part:
  • Contact us with your order number
  • The item must comply with the Condition of Returned Goods
Once received and inspected:
  • We will ship the replacement, or
  • Process a refund so you can place a new order
Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Your rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If goods are:
  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Incorrect
  • Not as described
Contact us promptly with your order number, issue details, and photographs where appropriate.
We will provide an appropriate remedy:
  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund
Reasonable return postage costs will be covered for faulty or incorrect goods.
8.1 Fault Diagnosis
Motorcycle issues can have multiple causes. Customers must ensure the part is correctly diagnosed as the source of the fault.
If testing shows the item is functioning correctly, the return will be processed under standard cancellation rules, not as a faulty claim.

9. Additional Seller Protections
9.1 Installation Responsibility
Many parts require professional installation. Refunds or exchanges may be limited if items have been:
  • Installed
  • Fitted
  • Modified
We may request evidence of professional installation before processing a claim.
9.2 Electrical Component Testing
Electronic or performance parts may be tested by the manufacturer or supplier before issuing a refund.
If the item functions correctly, the return will follow the standard returns policy.

10. Bundled Products / Special Orders
Where products are sold as a bundle, all items must be returned together for a full refund.
Partial returns may result in refunds being adjusted to reflect individual item values.
Custom or made-to-order parts won't be refunded.

11. Proof of Purchase
To process a return, provide:
  • The order number, or
  • Other proof of purchase

12. Return Address
Send returns to the address stated on your invoice or returns instructions.
Do not return items directly to the manufacturer.
