Gabro Racing Dynamic Ram Air Intake for Aprilia RS660 2025+ / USA 2026+
Developed specifically for race-prepared Aprilia RS660 models, the Gabro Racing Dynamic Ram Air Intake replaces the restrictive factory intake arrangement with a purpose-designed system engineered to deliver a cleaner, sealed and more efficient path into the airbox.
On the standard RS660, the original intake duct shares space with part of the front wiring loom and is not completely airtight. Its shape also becomes particularly compromised when fiberglass race bodywork is fitted, where the factory duct does not correctly correspond with the air opening in the race fairing. The result is unnecessary pressure loss and reduced ability to take advantage of the ram-air effect at speed.
Developed by Gabro Racing in collaboration with Italian racing component specialist RacingBike, this kit completely revises the front intake arrangement. The wiring is relocated outside the intake path, while the new duct creates a more direct and effectively sealed route between the front of the motorcycle and the airbox.
Designed to Make Ram Air Work
Rather than simply increasing the size of the intake opening, the Gabro Racing system has been developed around dynamic airflow. As road speed rises, incoming air is channelled through the duct towards the airbox, allowing positive pressure to build and improving cylinder filling at speed.
Gabro Racing tested the system using dynamic dyno testing with airflow speed linked to roller speed. According to Gabro, the ram-air system substantially improves upon the original duct as airflow velocity increases. Current Gabro Racing technical literature specifies gains of approximately 2–3 hp across the RPM range, with additional performance available at speed through the ram-air effect.
Lightweight Race Front Subframe Included
The intake system is supplied with a dedicated lightweight front fairing support manufactured from laser-cut aluminium sheet. The structure is accurately formed and welded before receiving a durable black powder-coated finish.
As well as supporting the ram-air duct and race bodywork, the replacement front subframe provides mounting points for the original dashboard and relocated front wiring, creating a much cleaner race-focused installation.
Designed for Fiberglass Race Fairings
This is a dedicated competition component intended for RS660s fitted with fiberglass race bodywork. Installation requires an opening to be cut into the nose of the fairing so that the intake can receive an unrestricted supply of air.
A cutting template and flexible sealing gasket are supplied to help accurately position and seal the intake opening. The front wiring loom must also be rerouted as part of the installation. Gabro Racing originally developed the system around Cruciata RS660 race bodywork and states that it has subsequently been successfully installed with other fiberglass fairing kits.
Dedicated UpMap RAM-AIR ECU Map Included
Correct ECU calibration is an important part of the system. Each kit includes a single-use promotional code providing a free download of the dedicated Gabro Racing RAM-AIR ECU map from the UpMap Store.
Please note that an UpMap T800+ device is required to install the supplied ECU calibration and is not included with the ram-air kit.

This product is designed specifically for race and track-prepared motorcycles using fiberglass competition bodywork. Modification of the race fairing and relocation of the front wiring harness are required for installation.
Important: This is a competition product intended for closed-course use. The installation is not compatible with the standard headlight and mirror arrangement. If the motorcycle is being prepared for a regulated race series or championship, please confirm that the intake and associated modifications comply with the relevant technical regulations before installation.
