The Racingbike Airbox Splitter for Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 (2021–2025, USA 2026) is a performance-focused intake upgrade designed to enhance airflow within the airbox and improve overall intake efficiency.
Developed in collaboration with Gabro Racing, this component refines the internal air path, making it smoother and more controlled. The result is a more precise, consistent, and responsive engine performance. A similar splitter design is also integrated into the Evo race airbox kit Aprilia 660 RS Tuono designed by GRT. No ECU remapping is required to benefit from this upgrade.
Manufactured from PA12 using MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technology, the splitter offers an excellent balance of lightweight construction, strength, and dimensional accuracy. Its internal structure reduces turbulence and optimises airflow direction toward the throttle bodies, improving intake efficiency—particularly during spirited riding and at higher RPM.
The enhanced airflow may result in a slight leaner air-fuel mixture (approximately 1.5–2% at top speed), which is fully supported by all UpMap calibrations without the need for dedicated remapping.
Dyno testing carried out by Gabro Racing shows a peak power increase of approximately +1 hp at the crank (from 101.6 hp to 102.6 hp) without ECU adjustments, making this a simple yet effective upgrade.
Compact and easy to install, the splitter integrates seamlessly into the standard airbox without requiring any modifications, making it suitable for both road and track use.
