The Continental IMU (gyroscope) is normally very sensitive to vibrations, and can trigger an alarm when ridded hard, especially on track. A red alarm appears on the dash: “Alarm Service ATC disabled” bike’s ECU diag record it as “P1911 sensor box failure”. The error can be triggered also by a curb hit on track too, no just by vibrations.
You can see most of the on board track videos on YouTube are actually showing this dash alarm.
When the error shows-up, bike electronics aids get mutilated by the gyroscope infos, ECU sets itself in “safe mode” and limit bike performances. Only key-off/key-on can reset the alarm and restore bike correct working status. Until next error occurrence comes :/
This IMU dampening system has been developed by Gabro Racing Team in 2 years racing activity. This latest revision has proven to greatly reduce faults occurrence.
The test on the bike was positive. Still "work in progress". Happy to hear feedbacks!
